Ridge Road was developed in 1969. It is a winding, no-outlet, narrow road about a mile in length ending at the National Forest boundary. There are three short, private lanes off the road including Fox Ridge Lane, Lift Line Way, and Mountain View. The area includes the original Rendezvous Trail, Filing No. 2 which was annexed by the city in 1973. The area is zoned R-N, single-family residential.
The Ridge Road Community Association has undertaken a number of projects to upgrade and maintain the character of our neighborhood including participation in the city council, planning commission, and water board meetings.
Some of our significant accomplishments have included working with the city to pave Ridge Road and place guard rails; negotiating major enhancements to the Mt Werner Water distribution and storage system; and communicating with neighbors about the covenants of our voluntary homeowner’s association. RRCA endeavors to keep our members apprised of issues that concern us all as a neighborhood. The Association has distributed information regarding wildfire risks that directly affect property owners’ safety, as well as helping to keep Ridge Road and Burgess Creek Road free of trash and clearing snow from fire hydrants and our community mailbox.
The Ridge Road Community Association endeavors to foster a community of members who will enjoy our beautiful neighborhood now and into the future. We meet on a regular basis. For more information login here. You can also contact us via e-mail: ridgeroadca@gmail.com
